Indiana Jones has become the most recognized icon for what see as ‘adventure.’ Yet, his character was inspired by a whole genre of fiction written in the 1930’s and 1940’s known as Pulp Adventure. There were other sub genres of ‘pulp fiction’ – but the adventure genre has become the most recognized thanks to our fedora wearing whip master.
